Poetic movement of the 19th century: “Ossianism”. The arts are dedicated to Ossian, an infallible cult following the example of Napoleon Bonaparte and his passion for France’s Celtic roots. Ossian inspired all forms of artistic creation, from Schubert’s music to Ingre’s painting and the “Rêve d’Ossian” perfume from “Maison Oriza L. Legrand” in 1900.
