DESCRIPTION
This fragrance was created on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1900.
The abandoned chapel of a Cistercian abbey. The cold stone of the oozing and mossy walls. The encaustic of the altar tabernacle and the richly carved wood. Linseed oil from the wet board. Frankincense and myrrh still noticeable; but a pepper awakens the sense of smell.
NOTES
Top Notes: foliage and maritime pine.
Heart Notes: powdered white lily, pepper, linseed oil, terebinth, frankincense, myrrh and elemi.
Base Notes: musks, mosses, waxed woods, blonde woods and peppers.
