This unisex fragrance, which was launched in 2018, belongs to the “Revenants” collection.

In 1751, the novelist Henry Fielding proclaimed: “The gin-shops are, no doubt, the nurseries of all sorts of vice and wickedness”. Seeking to illustrate this decline in public virtue, between 1732 and 1734, the English artist William Hogarth published eight canvases depicting the progress of a rake. One of Hogarth’s most infamous works, the ruin of the protagonist Tom Rakewell, is represented by his high standard of living, prostitutes and gambling. Inspired by Hogarth’s scenes of degeneracy in the Georgian metropolis, we revive his spirit in “Rake & Ruin”; a fragrance that captures an evening in a tavern, where gin and good times flow.

Top Notes: Gin, Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Orange, Lemon, Iris, Liquorice, Sichuan Pepper, Pink Pepper, Cypress and Pine Needles.

Middle and Base Notes: Violet, Castoreum, Costus, Ambrarome, Laudanum, Amber, Smoky Musk, Sandalwood and Dry Woods.
