Throughout the 17th and 18th centuries, the Jardins d’Armide were used incessantly through music (Lully, Vivaldi, Handel, Haydn, Rossini, etc.), painting (Poussin, Van Dyck, Tiepolo, Fragonard… .) and Literature.

In 1909, the famous “Maison Oriza L. Legrand” presented the fragrance “Jardins D’Armide” in its prestigious boutique 11 Place de la Madeleine in homage to the legendary gardens and the women who symbolized them.

“Jardins d’Armide” was the symbol of beauty, exuberance and wonder; full of flowers and embalming of the rarest essences. The French Grand Siècle is not immune to myths, he is passionate about illusion and charm. Armide, the most emblematic magician of the 17th century, a woman of great beauty who knows the art of seduction, best embodies the ambivalent powers of charm.
