Huaxia is the first perfume in China perfume series. by Elixir Attar. One of the hardest things to do as a perfumer was finding the right ingredients that reflected one of the richest histories and cultures that exist. Even more difficult was deciding on the name of the perfumes, and in this we had incredible help from our dear friend and China specialist Danielle from Hong Kong, her help in providing the correct literary sources was impeccable. Not only did she send me some ancient texts on perfumery and incense from China, but she also helped me assimilate much of this wealth of information. This mention is the least we can do to show you our special thanks at Elixir Attar. Huaxia is a name that reflects many things about China, it reflects the rich culture, ancient civilization and incredible diversity. There is probably no literal translation for the word. If we closely examine the aromas in Chinese history and culture, we will find that they are numerous and too many to be contained in a single composition, hence the decision to make an entire series on Chinese aromas. Huaxia is all about the floral elements of musk, with Chinese wild agarwood from Hainan CO2 Sinesis in the base with musk and the finest Chinese flowers of Jasmine Sambac, Osmanthus and Sichuan pepper, just to name a few. The result is an incredible floral oud bouquet that cuts through the citrus top notes and sits on a bed of musk that ties it all together.

Top Notes: Sichuan Pepper, Neroli.

Heart notes: Chinese Jasmine Sambac, Chinese Osmanthus

Base notes: Musk, agarwood Wild Sinesis Hainan CO2
